MacUser Supplement - Feature Highlights - The Best Reads From The Past 12 Months

Over the course of the past 12 months, we've published a wide variety of features, ranging from technical workthroughs to profiles, buyers' guides and interviews. Picking out just a few to fill the pages of this special supplement was a tough task indeed.

We kicked off the year with a profile of Ben Schott, the man who spawned a thousand imitators when he published his first phenomenally successful Miscellany book. He started out using QuarkXPress, but switched to InDesign after a few years and hasn't looked back since. We caught up with him to find out why, and whether he has any regrets.

We also met up with the film-making genius behind pop group Saint Etienne's documentary about the Festival of Britain and the subsequent renovation of the Royal Festival Hall. When we learned that they'd produced and edited the whole thing on a Mac, the opportunity to find out how they did it was too good to resist.

And we've celebrated all that is good about the Mac, with the top 10 Macs of all time, 10 applications you absolutely must get hold of, and a look back at 10 years of the iMac.

If you missed any of these features, here's your chance to read them anew.
